The biggest flowers in the Hydrangea family can be found on this group. Flowers up to 10" across in either white or pink shades bloom every year even after severe pruning or cold winters. These are commonly grown as a hedge as well. They prefer morning sun and afternoon shade or dappled shade all day. The blooms in this group can be so large that they tend to bend toward the ground. Plant them near a fence or group a few together so they can support one another, or surround a young plant with a wire fence.
