Astilbe Spirea/ Feather Flower p i e q l d h ? Fluffy spikes on ferny foliage blooming in June and July. Varieties vary in size, shape, bloom color, bloom time and leaf color. The flower heads last longer if they are planted to avoid the afternoon sun. Some have green leaves, other bronze, some are shiny while others have a matte finish. All Astilbe OK for moist, well drained soil. Does not prefer dry soil. Zones 4 - 9
