Azalea For control of the Azalea lace bug (an invasive species) spray the plants to runoff right after blooming with Bonide Systemic Insect Control as directed right after the bloom is finished! Repeat the application in 10 days to finish off any newly hatched lace bugs. Bonide Systemic Insect Control is NOT a neonicotinoid that maybe harmful to pollinators.
